Zeicle (“Zeicle”, “we”, “us”, “our”) builds and operates a modular business platform — custom software, AI-native applications, cloud infrastructure, managed IT & security, FTTH broadband, and managed network services. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, web platform, and mobile applications (together, the “Services”), how we use it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Services you agree to this policy.
1. Who is responsible for your data
For our public website and for accounts we hold with you directly (for example, your Zeicle subscription), Zeicle is the data controller. Where you are a user within a customer organisation’s workspace, that organisation is the controller of the business data it manages, and Zeicle acts as a data processor on its behalf — we process that data only to provide the Services and on the organisation’s instructions.
2. Information we collect
- Account & identity data — name, email address, phone number, organisation, role, and login credentials (passwords are stored only as salted hashes).
- Business data you provide — content you or your organisation enter into the platform, such as invoices, quotes, expenses, contacts, ledgers, property and project records, and subscriber/network information. This data belongs to your organisation.
- Billing data — subscription plan, billing contact, transaction history, and GST/tax identifiers. Card and bank details are handled directly by our payment partners and are not stored by us.
- Usage & device data — log data, IP address, device and browser type, app version, and (for mobile) a push notification token if you enable notifications.
- Network & service data — where you use our connectivity, RADIUS/authentication, or device-management services, technical records such as session, usage, and device identifiers.
- Communications — messages you send us (including website enquiry forms) and support correspondence.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, secure, and maintain the Services.
- To process subscriptions, billing, and payments, and to send related notices.
- To send transactional email and SMS (e.g. invoices, reminders, security and account messages).
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.
- To improve and develop the Services (using aggregated or de-identified data where practical).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use the business data in customer workspaces for advertising.
4. Payment processing
Payments and subscription collection are handled by PCI-DSS-compliant third-party payment gateways (for example, Razorpay and Cashfree). When you pay, your card or bank details are submitted directly to the gateway. Zeicle receives only confirmation of the transaction and limited metadata (such as a payment reference and status); we never store your full card number.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Services:
- Infrastructure & sub-processors — cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services, India region), transactional email (Amazon SES), SMS gateways, payment gateways, and push notification delivery.
- Within your organisation— business data is accessible to authorised users of your organisation’s workspace according to their roles and permissions.
- Legal & safety — where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
6. Data storage & location
The Services are hosted on cloud infrastructure located in India. Your data may be processed by the sub-processors listed above to deliver the Services to you.
7. Data retention
We retain personal and business data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Services, then for the period required to meet legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. When you close an account, we provide a window to export your data, after which it is deleted or anonymised in the ordinary course, except where retention is legally required.
8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS), encryption of data at rest, role-based access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.
9. Your rights & choices
Subject to applicable law (including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the Information Technology rules), you may request to access, correct, update, or delete your personal data, or object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage much of your profile data from within your account. To make a request, contact us at privacy@zeicle.com. If you are a user within a customer organisation, please also contact that organisation, which controls its workspace data.
10. Cookies
Our platform uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. Our public website uses minimal cookies. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising.
11. Children
The Services are intended for businesses and for individuals aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are material, provide additional notice. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
